28 citizenship candidates to become U.S. citizens in Boise

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will welcome 28 citizenship candidates as new U.S. citizens on Thursday at the Boise, courthouse.

The citizenship candidates are from Afghanistan, Burma, Bhutan, Costa Rica, France, Guatemala, India, Iran, Iraq, Mexico, Russia, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

USCIS asks new citizens and their families and friends to share the experience and photos at their ceremonies via social media using the hashtag #newUScitizen.

This will take place at the Boise U.S. Courthouse on Thursday, July 11, at 3 p.m.
