CWI moves forward with Boise land purchase near Boise River
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The College of Western Idaho is moving forward with a million dollar land purchase in Boise.
The board of trustees says it still intends to purchase the land for the school's Boise campus after many thought CWI's original bid was too high.
CWI wants to build a Boise campus on a 10.3 acre lot at the end of Main Street and Whitewater Park Boulevard. Integra Realty Resources originally appraised the property at $8.9 million, very close to what the school initially offered at $8.8 million.
The final bill will be roughly $8.75 million.
The Ada County Assessor's Office had appraised the property at about $4 million.
