Fiddler's Green Gets Renamed

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre, one of the few venues left with its original moniker, is changing its name to Coors Amphitheatre. Other changes in store for the 16,823-capacity Denver venue include upgrades in seating, artist accommodations and patron amenities.

"We are excited to continue to work with House of Blues Concerts, Inc. to bring the best and brightest talent to this fantastic venue, as well as to make the overall concert-going experience even better than it is now," said Pete Coors, chairman of Coors Brewing Co. "It's important to note, however, that the new name will not change priorities such as alcohol responsibility and serving the community."

"We are excited to expand the Coors relationship in the Denver market," said Jim McCue, senior vice president of talent for House of Blues Concerts. "We are all working hard at delivering a winning artist line-up for all of Denver's music fans to enjoy this summer." – Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
