Genshin Impact 2.6 update release date and time, maintenance schedule revealed officially

Travelers should gear up for the release of Genshin Impact 2.6 update which has been named as “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” as the developers have announced the maintenance schedule as well as the release date and time for the next update. The anticipated patch promises to add a lot of new elements in the game including a new Hydro DPS character that players should look forward to.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update maintenance schedule and more

After pulling for Yae Miko, Kokomi and Raiden Shogun in the current update, Travelers are all set to welcome the Genshin Impact 2.6 update where the elder brother of Ayaka and the head of Kamisato Clan will become playable. Players will be able to see the Genshin Impact 2.6 update tomorrow i.e. on March 30,2022.

The maintenance for the Genshin Impact 2.6 update bringing Kamisato Ayato is going to commence at 6:00 am (UTC+8). As usual the maintenance will last around 5 hours globally and during that time players won’t be able to have access to the game. As a compensation to the players, the developers will issue 300 primogems which need to be claimed within the time period of 2.6 update.

How to download the update?

Once the update releases globally for the players, they can follow these mentioned steps in order to download the new content in the game-

PC: Close the game, open the Genshin Impact Launcher, and click Update to download the in-game content.
iOS: Open the App Store and tap Update. Players will be automatically notified when the update is rolled out in their country.
Android: Open the game and follow the directions on-screen.
PS5 and PS4: Highlight Genshin Impact from the PS4 Home Screen, press the OPTIONS button and select “Check for Update.”
