He beat the game: Asmongold weighs in on Ninjas multi-streaming decision
Asmongold, the longtime Twitch streamer, has recently made his views clear on Ninja’s recent decision to stream on multiple platforms. The OTK founder pointed out the various pros and cons he found out with the decision on a recent stream.
Ninja had abruptly taken a break from streaming, following which he also lost his Twitch partnership and many wondered if he would be returning on a different platform. The streamer then announced his return, stating that the Fortnite pro would now be streaming “everywhere”.

Asmongold claims Ninja’s decision is “not a good idea”
Ninja has finally come back from the abrupt break he announced, changing his username to User Not Found and removing his profile picture on all platforms. His return was highlighted with him announcing that he would now be streaming on multiple platforms at the same time.
Asmongold reacted to this announcement on a recent stream, pointing out the various flaws as well as opportunities this decision brings to the constantly evolving streaming space. His initial comments emphasised how he believed the decision was “not a good idea”, commenting-
“Let’s say you have a livestream on seven platforms and each platform has like 1k viewers, is it better to have seven livestreams that have 1k viewers or one livestream that has 7k viewers? I would probably argue that it’s better overall to have one livestream that has 7k.”
Asmongold claimed that actively interacting with the audience in such a stream is just not feasible, highly affecting the stream’s quality. He added that Ninja should’ve moved to YouTube, citing the fact that he has a bigger following on that platform as compared to Twitch, as well as YouTube currently signing many streamers to stream on their platform exclusively.

However, Asmongold went on to praise Ninja, saying that he has “beat the game”, stating that the streamer has gained enough fame and fortune that he can proceed with such an experiment without facing any considerable risk. He said that Ninja was, in his opinion, the first-ever “real mainstream gaming celebrity”, allowing him to kick back, relax and do as he wishes at this point.
