Nettwerk Music Group Opens Nashville Office
(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
Nettwerk Music Group will open a Nashville office on October 27 with a huge celebration, featuring performances by Nettwerk artists Guster, Jars of
Clay, Griffin House and Abigail Washburn. The festivities are free and
open to the public, beginning at 5:30PM.
Nettwerk Nashville will be the home Jars of Clay, Josh
Rouse, Griffin House, Matt Wertz, Abigail Washburn and Old Crow
Medicine Show.
“I have a certain affinity for Nashville,” says Terry McBride, president and CEO of Nettwerk Music Group. “There is this
outcropping of great music coming from the city–rock, bluegrass–that
is impacting the whole country, not to mention the beautiful scenery,
genuine people and energetic college vibe.”
With a prime location just off of Music Row between Vanderbilt
University and Belmont University, Nettwerk Nashville is a part of
Edgehill Village–once the White Way Dry Cleaning building, the biggest dry
cleaning factory in Tennessee for roughly 70 years until it was
converted into office and retail space.
A leader in the world of digital music, Nettwerk’s newest office offers
a special feature to its community. The public will be welcomed on a
daily basis and will have the opportunity to sit down at kiosks and
create mix CDs of songs from both label and management artists, all
while enjoying a coffee from Edgehill Studios–the local coffee shop.
“The Nettwerk presence in Nashville is going to be a
great addition to the music scene," says Charlie Lowell, keyboardist for Jars Of Clay.
Guitarist Stephen Mason adds, “The
office is well-equipped for the future of how music will be created and
made available to the masses, and you really can’t beat a coffee shop
within walking distance.” –Bob Grossweiner aqnd Jane Cohen
