Crossover events are becoming immensely popular in Tencent’s battle-royale game nowadays that as a consequence, the developers are trying to bring some fun events by partnering up with well known games, brands as well as animated series.

PUBG Mobile x Evangelion collaboration: Everything known so far
The announcement of PUBG Mobile x Evangelion collaboration was made by Tencent in a video that gave us a sneak-peek regarding the upcoming features of the 2.0 update. While the official version of Livik was certainly a major attraction in the video, the upcoming crossover has also raised eyebrows.
The collaboration of PUBG Mobile with Evangelion marks the game’s second collaboration with an animated series as the first one was done with Jujutsu Kaisen in the 1.8 update released in the month of January. The crossover event had brought mythic outfits for the players which resembled the main characters of the series.
PUBG Mobile x Evangelion collaboration is also expected to bring something same in the 2.0 update which is scheduled to release in the month of May. Players can expect this event to roll out within the first two weeks of May if the 2.0 update is note pushed to later dates.
For players unaware about Evangelion, it is a Japanese animated series released in 1995 which is also known as Neon Genesis Evangelion. This mecha genre series became extremely popular and even to this date, people like to watch it due to its exceptional storyline.
Leakers have not missed their chance to reveal as to what players can expect from the PUBG Mobile x Evangelion collaboration. Just like Jujutsu Kaisen, it is expected that outfits of the main characters will be available for the players.
